Accessibility.

What we have actually done, what we know is still imperfect, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.

Last updated 29 August 2026.

The standard we build to

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on this site and on every site we build for a client. We are not claiming certification — nobody has audited us against it and saying otherwise would be a claim we cannot back.

What is in place

  • Text contrast is measured, not guessed. Every text colour on this site is checked against the surface behind it and must clear the AA ratio for its size before it ships. Two failures were found this way and fixed — a header button whose text was rendering grey on blue, and a form button whose colour gradient dropped below the threshold at one end.
  • The site works from the keyboard. Every link, button and form field can be reached and operated with Tab and Enter, and there is a “skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
  • Motion respects your settings. If your device asks for reduced motion, animations stop and videos do not autoplay.
  • Images carry alternative text, and decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them rather than reading a filename aloud.
  • Videos have visible controls and never autoplay with sound.
  • Text resizes. The layout holds together when text is enlarged, and the site works down to a 320-pixel-wide screen without sideways scrolling.
  • Semantic structure — one h1 per page, headings in order, real landmarks, and form labels tied to their fields.

What is not fixed yet

An accessibility page that lists no problems is not being honest with you.

  • Our videos have no captions or transcripts. This is the biggest gap on the site. Anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing currently gets no equivalent for the narration. Captions are the next accessibility work scheduled here.
  • Some decorative background animation is drawn on a canvas that assistive technology cannot describe. It carries no information, and it holds still when you ask for reduced motion.
  • Third-party embeds — payment pages and anything hosted elsewhere — are outside our control, and we cannot promise they meet the same standard.

Tell us when something does not work

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, email will@willdevagency.com or call (626) 999-2245. Tell us the page and what happened, and what you were using if you know it.

We aim to reply within five business days, and if the fix is going to take longer than that, we will tell you what we are doing and when. In the meantime we will get you the information another way — read down the phone, sent as plain text, whatever works.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division at ada.gov/file-a-complaint, or the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing. We would rather you gave us a chance to fix it first, but you are not required to.
