Booked BeforeThey Call You.

A patient looking for a new dentist has two questions and neither of them is about your equipment: what does this cost without insurance, and is it going to hurt. Most practice websites answer neither, then wonder why the phone is the only way in. Builds start at $1,000, the rate card is public, and the first conversation is a free 20-minute teardown of the site you have now.

The Question They Ask Before They Ask You

Look at what people actually type and most of it is either a price or a shortlist — “how much are implants without insurance”, “best dentist near me”. That is a stream of people arriving with money on their mind and no relationship with you yet. A page that says “call for a consultation” is asking them to spend a phone call to find out whether they can afford the room.

The practices that win this write the price range down, with the conditions attached and the date it was last true, and put a booking button next to it. That is not discounting. It is the difference between being compared and being skipped.

The second question is comfort, and it is answered by tone, not by a claim. What sedation you offer, what a first visit is actually like, what happens if someone is frightened. Write it plainly and it does more than any stock photo of a smiling family ever has.

The Six Pages A Practice Actually Needs

Not a services dropdown — six real pages, in the order we build them, because they are the six things people search for by name:

  • Dental implants — the highest-value page on the site, and a cost page whether or not you write it as one.
  • Emergency dentist — the one that needs a tappable number and tonight’s hours, not a form.
  • Invisalign and clear aligners — a comparison page, because the search is almost always aligners versus braces.
  • Crowns and root canals — where the pain question actually lives.
  • Veneers and cosmetic — the page the gallery belongs on.
  • New patients: insurance and payment — the page that converts every other page, and the one most practices leave until last.

One page per thing you sell. A single “Services” page listing all six is why so many practice sites rank for nothing but their own name.

The One Page That Pays For The Year

Between October and December, patients with dental benefits either use them or lose them, and that is the single biggest scheduling push in the calendar. A page written for it — what expires, how to check what is left, what can realistically be finished before the 31st, with a booking link — is the highest-return seasonal page in our entire local playbook.

It also has to exist before people start searching, which means it gets built in August. A practice that publishes it in November has published a page for next year.

Health Answers Work Differently

When someone asks an AI assistant about a dental procedure, the answer leans on the big health sources and is deliberately careful about naming a specific provider. That changes what actually moves the needle: being complete and current on the health directories and booking platforms your patients already use tends to do more for how you are found than another page on your own site would.

So the monthly work is not just writing. It is your Google Business Profile, the health directory listings, the same name and phone number everywhere they appear, and reviews arriving steadily and getting answered. That is the retainer, and for a practice it usually matters more than the build did.

The Rules A Dental Site Runs Under

Dentistry is advertised under the Dental Board of California’s rules, and a website is advertising. Anything clinical on the page needs a named licensed reviewer standing behind it. Before-and-after photos are patient records, so they go on the site with written consent or they do not go on the site — our dental design system has a smile gallery built for exactly that, and it stays empty until real consented cases fill it.

The one most practices trip over is quieter: you cannot confirm that someone is a patient. That includes replying to a review. “Thanks for coming in on Tuesday” is a disclosure. We write review responses that thank the person without confirming anything, and it is the sort of thing an agency in another state will not think about.

What It Costs

The same numbers as everywhere else on this site: Launch at $1,000 for up to five core pages on the dental design system, with a booking path that actually works and on-page SEO wired in. Business Growth at $2,500 for up to ten pages, which is what the six above plus a home, contact and new-patient page needs, with custom visual direction and local SEO. Retainers start at $199 a month and most practices take the $499 one. The first 90 days are month-to-month, cancel any time, no fee, and that is written into the agreement.

Who This Is For

Owner-run general and cosmetic practices in Anaheim, Orange County and across California — one to three chairs, where the front desk is also the marketing department and the website has not brought in a new patient anyone can name. If you are already booked out three months, you do not need this.
